Please folks, don't move to Milton, half the folks here need to move out, used to be a great place, born and raised here, way to many people here now, and anyone with any sense at all, makes no sense, folks buying three hundred thousand dollar homes, in a God forsaken subdivision, 5 foot from the next house, As far as East Milton, alot better places to live than these places.

I’m surprised by the title that you only mentioned trac-home treeless subdivisions. Some of my favorite waterfront neighborhoods of East Milton are Lakeside Dr, Riviera Dr, Cooper Basin area, North Airport rd and Paradise Island.

How much does this model cost

This is such bullshit. You "realtors" and commissioners have completely ruined this town. What used to be a quick trip to the store now takes half an hour. Every tag is out of state. All the new people are complete degenerate assholes. New neighborhoods absolutely everywhere. You idiots have done everything from fill in the swamps to completely destroy almost every single forest. You do not get to wildly destroy nature unchecked. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Have fun with that. You all have brought this upon yourselves while fucking over all the locals in the meantime. Next major hurricane we have this area is going to be an absolute shit show. Not to mention all the kids that are being brought to the area. What happens when they need jobs? This whole area is fucked.

I still prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants growing businesses and communities and a good nightlife.

Great info. We have been coming to the greater Pensacola area for over 8 years - being mostly the beaches of course - but love the whole area. We have been thinking about moving to the Milton area.

I went to view a house at Stonebrook. It is so pretty and peaceful there. However, the traffic getting to Pace from Pensacola with the on-going construction prevents me from moving there. I heard it will be years for the infrastructure to be finished in Pace.

Is there public transportation or Ubers (wheelchair accessible transportation) in either of these cities?

I'm looking forward to visiting the Milton/Pace area in April, interested in a nice house for rent. Great information 👍

We are also from the DC area (SoMD) and have chosen to spend our "growing older" years in Pensacola. Watching vlogs of people who live in Pensacola as they document their lives and what they do, helped us pinpoint going for a visit and seeing it for ourselves in the winter.. during one of the coldest fronts you all have had in recent years. We explored and found the neighborhood that fits our lifestyle best - and yet still affordable. I don't think you can find anywhere else in Florida you can get so close to the water under 400k.. you can even find them under 200k! They won't be new construction but for the location you can do a little remodeling and create your near perfect home. Pensacola was such a surprise to me being originally from Miami (decades ago) I knew nothing of what NW Florida was all about. It is definitely a different culture but still has all the water life in abundance. Its reminds me of the Florida keys boating life back in the 70's and early 80's. I have yet to see what its like in the summer and hope to be in our new home by then (thank God the housing market has slowed down cuz the house we have our eye on is still on the market!)

I drive for lyft. Right now I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and lyft is busy. Thinking if moving to the panhandle to be closer to my daughter. I like milton alot. Is there much of a need for ride share down there? Thank you
